The UMich Campus is divided into three areas i.e. the North, Central, and South Campuses covering an area of more than 29 million square feet and including more than 300 major buildings. The University has more than 40,000 students enrolled in 600 academic programs i.e. undergraduate, graduate, summer program, and research activities etc. The undergraduate programs include Aerospace Engineering, Anthropology, Architecture, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Business, Communication Studies, Computer Science, Earth Science, and History etc. whereas graduate programs include Dual-Degree Programs, Student-Initiated Programs, and the area of study includes Architecture and Urban Planning, Art & Design, Business, Dentistry, Education, Engineering, Law, Music, and Medicine etc.

The Special Programs at UMich offer opportunities to students in the field of art, ecology and field biology, geology, research and advocacy of women, social justice, literature, and science etc. UMich is the largest public research institution in the United States and thousands of research projects are always under progress in the fields of arts & humanities, biological sciences, business, cultural studies, dentistry, education, medical, nursing, physical sciences, and social sciences etc. The Summer Programs include programs for the children and adults such as Biological Stations, Camp Davis Program, English Language Institute, TechStart Programs, School of Music, KidSport, and Athletics/Sports Camp etc.

To get admission at University of Michigan, there are three methods for applying i.e. applicant can apply online, or print out a pdf application, or requesting a hard copy from applicant’s high school counselor. The freshman admissions criteria include high school grades, curriculum choices, ACT or SAT scores, extracurricular achievements, and special skills etc. Approximately 4% of seats are reserved for international students, and the ratio of men to women is approximately 50:50.
